STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES: COVID-19

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic‚ our standard operating procedures have been adjusted and updated to help limit‚ reduce‚ and ultimately prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. The revamped operational references address all departments and personnel company-wide.

All the procedures implemented and adjusted are derived from recommendations outlined by IATA‚ the World Health Organisation‚ Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority‚ and the Tanzanian Ministries of Health and Tourism (not in any particular order).

Although these procedures utilise the best practices prescribed by the agencies noted above‚ any subsequent conflicting changes in recommendations should be complied with. The information is being reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. Given the rapidly evolving nature of the international response to the Covid-19 outbreak‚ Air Excel cannot guarantee its accuracy and can accept no liability for any errors or omissions. 

Please note that all regulations and requirements stipulated by the Tanzanian government take precendence.

PASSENGER LOCATOR CARD

Part of the enhanced screening and boarding process requires all passengers intending to board and travel with Air Excel to complete a passenger locator card. This information is being collected with the sole purpose of aiding public health officials should the situation require it. This locator card is required to be filled out per passenger travelling
